Sugargoo Sizing Chart: The Flat-Measure Method

Sugargoo Spreadsheet Guide · 6 7 月, 2026

Sizing is where new Sugargoo spreadsheet buyers most often go wrong. Labels vary by factory. Only measurements tell the truth. Here is the flat-measure method.

Why labels are misleading

Asian sizing conventions are not standardized across factories. One seller XL may fit like a US L; another seller XL may fit like a US M. Same label, wildly different fit. Label alone tells you almost nothing.

The flat-measure method

  1. Pick a garment you already own and love.
  2. Lay it flat on a table.
  3. Measure chest width, length, sleeve length (for tops).
  4. For pants: waist, rise, inseam, thigh.
  5. Compare against the seller numerical chart, not the label.

Category rules of thumb

  • T-shirts and hoodies: Asian XL for US L.
  • Shoes: about half a size below US.
  • Pants: waist measurement is truth.
  • Jackets: measure chest and length carefully.

What to do if the chart is missing

Ask the seller. Most respond within 24 hours with measurements for their specific listing.

The stretch factor

Knit fabrics stretch; woven do not. A 90 cm chest on a woven jacket is smaller than 90 cm chest on a knit hoodie. Adjust expectations accordingly.

Calibration first

Order T-shirts before anything expensive. Cheap way to calibrate on Sugargoo sizing without financial risk.
