The 2026 refresh of the Sugargoo spreadsheet is structural, not cosmetic. Five real changes reshape how the sheet gets used month over month.
Change 1: Stable category IDs
Category identifiers are now frozen. Shoes are 911. T-shirts are 913. And so on through 921. Bookmarks made today still resolve next year. Community QC threads keyed to those IDs no longer break with reshuffles.
Change 2: Coupon flow relocation
In 2025, coupons had to be applied at product checkout — confusing timing that caused failed discount stacks. In 2026 the coupon step moved to parcel submission. See the stack-layered handbook for how this reshapes strategy.

Change 3: Per-listing QC aggregation
Before 2026, community QC photos attached to order history. Researching a listing meant hunting Discord threads. The 2026 sheet aggregates QCs at the listing level. Massive research quality improvement.
Change 4: Category pruning
About 15 percent of 2025 listings were removed as delisted or unreliable. The remaining 85 percent are in stock or on active restock cycles. Signal-to-noise went up.
Change 5: Mobile rebuild
Category browsing on phones was rebuilt from scratch. Filter chips replaced accordions; dropdowns no longer overflow on small screens. Mobile shopping went from unusable to usable.
What pointedly did not change
- The eleven main categories remain the same set.
- The QC finder tool works the same way with better underlying data.
- Listing URLs still use category-XXX paths.
Should you re-open the sheet?
Yes, even if you shopped in 2025. Category stabilization alone justifies a fresh scroll. Open the homepage. For onboarding, read the new buyer roadmap.
